Our story

My name is Joanna Biggers. I’m the founder of Dulcify Journal, a beautiful printed publication that champions creatives and conversation within the food community. I started Dulcify Journal back in February 2022 and in March 2023 decided to create an online space, which I hope will become an extension of the journal, a place to share stories from the hospitality industry, celebrate locality and those making a difference in their communities.

How does it work?

Our Dulcify Journal pieces will be bi-monthly. We will have some pieces that are free for all to read and some that are for paid-subscribers only. They will focus mainly on people and their craft and like our printed publication, will encourage moments of slowness and of course, sweetness. In time, we hope to be able to commission food journalists and creatives to contribute to this newsletter.

Why become a paid subscriber:

  • Unlimited access to all content

  • Become involved in discussions and comment threads

  • As part of our community, you will help us to grow and support our printed publication and in time, emerging journalists and food creatives.

Subscribe to support independent food writing.
